HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – City officials are encouraging the community to participate in a survey that will provide inspiration for a logo design.
They are hoping to create a logo that will perfectly capture the spirit of Hopkinsville, and be used to promote the city, attract visitors, and foster a sense of unity among residents, according to the City of Hopkinsville. This new logo will not be replacing the city seal and will instead be used for marketing purposes.
The survey asks people to describe the personality of the city, what elements or symbols people equate with the city, and what cultural icons come into mind among other questions. The survey will be live through August, and a selection committee will choose a graphic designer in September.
The chosen designer will draft up various logo ideas which will be narrowed down by the committee in October. The community will be able to vote on their favorite design in November, and the new logo will be revealed in December.
To participate in the survey, visit the City of Hopkinsville Website. Any graphic designers interested in creating the logo can contact amanda.brunt@h-ky.us.
