HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Christian County Middle School Beta Club is asking the community to clean out their closets for a good cause during their Shoe Donation Drive on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 12-2 p.m.
Donors can simply drive up and drop off new or gently used pairs of shoes at the front of CCMS. All collected shoes will be sent to Funds2Orgs, an organization that partners with others around the world to clean and distribute footwear to families in need.
Organizers said matched pairs of shoes are required. They will accept most types of footwear, including high heels, work boots, sandals and loafers. However, CCMS Beta Club cannot take single or mismatched shoes, ice skates, rollerblades, wet or moldy shoes, or any with holes or tears.
