HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is alerting the public about a crash in Christian County that may impact traffic.
Around 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 24, KYTC said a crash occurred on Highway 189 near the 13-mile marker. The roadway is blocked while emergency crews can clear it off the roadway.
Local emergency services warned the public about driving in the snowy conditions through the weekend, with sleet and freezing rain coming through the area on top of multiple inches of snow that had fallen during the day.
No additional information about the accident has been released at this time.
