HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – An 81-year-old woman from Crofton died in a single vehicle crash on Greenville Road in Christian County. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash the afternoon of March 14 around 4:30 p.m. near Fearsville.
The car was driving southbound on Greenville Road, when it went off the roadway into a small ditch. After over correcting, the car crossed the opposing lane of traffic going into a large embankment. She then struck a large tree and flipped over near 12555 Greenville Road, according to a collision report from CCSO.
Medical treatment was provided by Christian County EMS and rescue services, but the woman died on the scene.
