CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – An emergency weather failure has shut down a portion of a Christian County highway Tuesday afternoon.
KY 508 (Butler Road) has been closed between Hayes Road (6.2mm) in Christian County to Jones Road (0.25 mm) in Todd County due to a cross drain that failed due to the weather, according to a news release from KYTC.
Only local traffic will be allowed between these two roads, with a hard closure at the failed cross drain at 12070 KY 508. Motorists can use Hayes Road and Jones Road to detour around the closure.
