Debbie Freeland, 65, of Pembroke/Hopkinsville, KY died at 12:29 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville, KY.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024 at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville with Brother Terry Joiner officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, KY. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Galveston, Texas she was born August 30, 1958 the daughter of Katie (Harvey) Gee of Fairview, KY and the late Edward Freeland. She had worked a teacher for the Christian County Public School System. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Casey Turner Cocchi.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her daughter: Ginger Sims of Fairview, KY; her brother: Steve (Sung) Freeland of Vermont; and her granddaughter: McKalee Sims.
