CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A brief pursuit of a suspect Tuesday night resulted in gunfire, and a long list of charges for a Christian County Man.
On Oct. 28, at approximately 8 p.m., deputies from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Lafayette Road to serve an arrest warrant on 40-year-old Timothy Osiborski of Herndon. The warrant included two domestic violence charges for strangulation and assault along with unlawful imprisonment.
While attempting to serve the warrant, Osiborski reversed his vehicle through the closed garage door at a high rate of speed, nearly striking deputies on scene, according to a news release from CCSO. In response to the immediate threat, deputies discharged one round toward the suspect’s vehicle, who then fled the area. Osiborski also struck a Kentucky State Police cruiser while fleeing.
A short pursuit ensued, ending when Osiborski abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot into a nearby field on Mt. Vernon Church Road while armed with a firearm that was later determined to be a pellet gun after the arrest. CCSO says that deputies, assisted by K9 Luca, were able to apprehend Osiborski without further incident. It was later determined that the vehicle he had been operating was reported stolen out of Tennessee.
During the arrest, deputies located a small bag containing a substance believed to be cocaine on Osiborski. He was transported to the Christian County Jail, where he was charged with the following in addition to the warrant.
