CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A man has been arrested after the Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to gunfire Monday night.
Around 11:30 p.m. on March 2, deputies responded to a residence at the 19000 block of Dawson Springs Road in Christian County in reference to a shots fired call. The suspect, identified as 59-year-old Michael Sisk of Dawson Springs, is accused of firing a gun toward his wife.
According to CCSO, the suspect’s wife heard a shot come from outside of their home, and she was threatened by Sisk when she attempted to leave the residence. She grabbed a bat and began to leave the home while telling the suspect to not come near her. An arrest report says the suspect fired a shot through the back door his wife’s direction. No injuries were reported.
Sisk was arrested and taken to the Christian County Jail and is being charged with Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) and Wanton Endangerment 1st-Discharge of Firearm.
