Ella Dean Carden, 86, of Madisonville, Kentucky died at 6:58 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville.
Funeral services will be Saturday April 13, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton. Visitation will take place on Friday April 12, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will resume Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
A native of Muhlenberg County, Kentucky she was born on June 14, 1937 the daughter of John Wesley Roberson and Millie Carver Roberson. She met and married Thomas Carden and together they raised two children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her faithful companion Maci.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Carden, 1 brother and 6 sisters.
Survivors include her daughter: Tonya Groves of Madisonville, Kentucky; son: Byron (Vickey) Carden of Cadiz, Kentucky; brother Reggie (Della) Roberson of Browder, Kentucky; sisters: Doris (Darrel) Bowers of Beech Creek, Kentucky; and Linda (Buddy) Staples of Beech Creek, Kentucky; grandchildren: A.J. (Sheena)Groves of Madisonville, Kentucky; Brittany (Angel) Miranda of Oak Grove Kentucky; great grandchildren: Salem Miranda and Alex Miranda of Oak Grove, Kentucky.
