A native of Saratoga Springs, New York he was born on May 9, 1979, the son of Charles Edward Felthousen of Suffolk, Virginia and Karen Felthousen of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He was a third shift maintenance worker at Wal-Mart.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his brother: Scott (Andrea) Felthousen of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; his uncle, Frederick Taylor of Catonsville, Maryland and his aunt, Barbara Kuban of Rotterdam, New York and several cousins.
