HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A home on South Campbell Street in Hopkinsville was severely damaged in a fire just before midnight on Thursday.
Payton Rogers, representative for the Hopkinsville Fire Department, told Christian County Now that multiple stations responded to the fire overnight at the 1700 block of South Campbell Street.
All occupants of the home were able to escape without injury, however one pet remains missing.
HFD says the fire made its way to the attic of the home with firefighters on the scene until after 3 a.m. on Friday as flame moved toward the attic of the home. The Red Cross was called to assistant the family further due to the severe damage inflicted on the home that leaves them displaced.
