HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Fire Department is teaming up with the Salvation Army to bring Christmas gifts and essentials to 50 local families this holiday season.
For more than 20 years, the department has worked with the community to ensure children in Hopkinsville wake up to gifts on Christmas morning, according to HFD. People who sign up to support a family will receive information about clothing sizes, needed essential items, and a wish list of toys they can purchase to help make the holiday special.
Gifts must be delivered unwrapped to the fire department headquarters by Dec. 19. For more information or to volunteer, contact Deputy Chief Chad Sivills at 270-890-1450 or csivills@h-ky.us
