The Fort Campbell Falcons hosted the Caldwell County Tigers for a first round playoff matchup at Fryar Stadium.
FORT CAMPBELL, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Fort Campbell Falcons hosted the Caldwell County Tigers for a first round playoff matchup at Fryar Stadium. While the Falcon offense scored 22 points, the Tigers put up 51 to overpower Fort Campbell, ending the Falcons season, 51-22.
Early on, the teams traded blows, with Gus Fox catching a touchdown pass for the Tigers, but Eric Greene responded on the next drive, catching a strike from JP Perryman in the endzone to even the affair at seven.

“Our guys played together, and played for each other,” said Fort Campbell head coach Henry Mitchell. “We’ve been preaching family. The way we came out reflected that.”
However, the Tigers put up four straight touchdowns to put the game out of reach. While Keshawn Dixon and JP Perryman got on the board with their own touchdowns, it was too little too late, with Caldwell County advancing, 51-22.

While the Falcons season ends, Mitchell is confident that the program is starting to climb the right way.
“We just fell a little short tonight,” said Mitchell. “We finished the season with a .500 record, which hasn’t been done in a decade. the program is moving in the right direction, and our competitive spirit for all the kids is still in it.
