HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A frost advisory has been issued for Christian County by the National Weather Service in Paducah.
This advisory will be in effect starting at 1 a.m. on Oct. 16 through 9 a.m. Overnight temperatures are predicted to drop to 35 degrees, which will result in frost formation throughout the western Kentucky region, according to NWS. This sudden drop in temperatures could harm outdoor plants.
Frost is likely to occur again Wednesday night into early Thursday morning as temperatures are expected to stay in the 30s overnight, rising to the mid 60s during the day.
