Gayle G. Moseley, Jr., 77, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky died at 1:30 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2023, at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehab in Hopkinsville.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Dan Huck officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky he was born on November 16, 1945, the son of the late Gayle Garnett Moseley, Sr. and Sue Lilly Moseley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Sisson Moseley in 1999 and his son, Gayle Garnett “Tad” Moseley, III in 1991.
He was a partner at J.G. Keown Insurance Agency and was past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Hopkinsville. He was a Drill Sergeant having served in the United States Army Reserves 100th Division and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hopkinsville. He was an accomplished guitarist and was inducted into the National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.
