Harold A. “Buddy” Scruggs, 80, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky died at 12:14 a.m., Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. Jacob Workman and Rev. Nathan Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the funeral home.
A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky he was born on November 18, 1943, the son of the late Allen King Scruggs and Katherine Florene Arms Scruggs.
He was a long-term employee of South-Central Bell and was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Ruth Ann Cathcart Scruggs of Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Cathy (Terry) Harper of Trigg County, KY and Connie (Mike) Workman of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren Audrey (Justin) Crick, Shawn (Lauren) Roberts, Arron (Logan) Workman, Nathan (Tori) Workman and Jacob (Aerin) Workman and five great grandchildren.
