 - Details: Enjoy a relaxing evening of creativity during the library’s Autumn Sip and Paint event. This free program for ages 21 and older includes alcoholic refreshments and a guided painting session. Registration is required, participants can choose their painting design when signing up.

 - Cost: $10 per person
 - Details: Experience the flavors of Germany during the next Supper Club gathering at the Pennyroyal Area Museum. Blush and Bashful Christmas Open House

 - Where: Blush and Bashful Romance Bookshop, 3012-B Fort Campbell Blvd., Hopkinsville
 - Cost: Free admission
 - Details: Blush and Bashful Romance Bookshop will kick off the holiday season with its Christmas Open House. Guests can spin the prize wheel for discounts and giveaways, take a $10 professional photo in front of the shop’s Christmas-themed book wall, and be entered into a gift basket drawing with any purchase of $50 or more.

 - Where: Downtown Hopkinsville
 - Details: Hopkinsville will honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans with the annual Veteran’s Day Parade. Sponsored by the Military Affairs Committee, VFW Post 1913, and Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation, the parade invites the community to bring family, friends, and flags to salute our nation’s heroes.
 
Movie Night at the Alhambra: The Grinch
- When: Nov. 9, 2 p.m.
 - Where: Alhambra Theatre, Hopkinsville
 - Cost: $5–$10
 - Details: Kick off the holiday season with the Junior Auxiliary of Hopkinsville at Movie Night featuring The Grinch. Enjoy festive fun for the whole family, including photos with the Grinch and a specialty Grinch drink. VIP tickets ($10) include popcorn and a goodie bag, while standard tickets are $5 at the door. All proceeds benefit the Pennyroyal Arts Council, this year’s Charity Ball recipient.
 
Brushy Fork Creek Fall Open House

 - Details: Enjoy a cozy fall weekend at Brushy Fork Creek Gallery with live music, guest artists, apple cider, and homemade treats. Visitors are invited to relax, enjoy the food and music, and meet the featured artists

 - Details: Kick off the holiday season with Deana Carter headlining the Hoptown Holiday Hopfest at the historic Alhambra Theatre. Tickets are on sale now.
 
- When: Nov. 27 at 8 a.m.
 - Where: Founders Square start line in downtown Hopkinsville
 - Cost: Free registration
 - Details: Walkers, runners, joggers, skaters, bikers, and leashed dogs are all invited to attend to tackle the 3.1-mile route, which features a scenic stretch along the greenway. This is a non-competitive race is not timed and generally attracts over 1,000 participants each year as it becomes a holiday tradition for local families.
 
- When: Nov. 29, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 - Where: The Silo, Hopkinsville
 - Details: Kick off the holiday season at The Christmas Village, featuring local boutiques under one roof, coffee and food trucks, and festive fun for the whole family. Children can visit Santa for photos and to share their wish lists.
 
- When: Nov. 29, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 - Where: Alhambra Theatre, Hopkinsville
 - Details: Celebrate Shop Small Saturday with a magical Nutcracker-themed High Tea. Guests can enjoy teas, hot chocolate, and tea snacks, meet and take photos with Nutcracker characters, and create a holiday craft to take home. Seating is limited to 45 guests. All proceeds benefit the Pennyroyal Arts Council and the Brooke Bailey Dance Addiction Dance Scholarship.

A Night of Reflection & Celebration: Men2Be’s Fifth Year Anniversary
- When: Dec. 5, doors at 5 p.m.; program at 6 p.m.
 - Where: Mount Olive Baptist Church, Hopkinsville
 - Details: Join Men 2 Be Inc. as they celebrate five years of empowering young men in the community. The evening will bring together sponsors, partners, parents, and city officials to reflect on past achievements and look ahead to future opportunities.

 - Where: Jeffers Bend Environmental Center, Hopkinsville

4th Annual Holidaze Community Festival
- When: Dec. 8 from 4-6 p.m.
 - Where: James E. Bruce Convention Center, Hopkinsville
 - Details: Celebrate the holiday season at the Holidaze Community Festival, a family-friendly event for children ages 0–12. The festival is free and open to the public. Local businesses and organizations interested in participating or sponsoring the event can contact the organizers through the provided registration link.

 - Where: War Memorial Walking Trail in Oak Grove
 - Details: Kick off the holiday season in Oak Grove with the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Celebration. The parade features a decorated float competition with participants from local businesses, city departments, and community organizations. Following the parade, enjoy the Tree Lighting Ceremony led by Santa. Visitors can grab hot cocoa and cookies before visiting Santa’s Workshop at the 1800s Schoolhouse for photos and holiday fun.
 
HES/EnergyNet Night Christmas Parade
- When: Dec. 13 at 5:15 p.m.
 - Where: Downtown Hopkinsville
 - Details: With the Christmas Vacation theme, the parade will have floats, marching bands, community groups, and local groups participating in a dark parade decorated with lights.
 
Free Christmas movies at the Alhambra Theater
- When: Dec. 22
 - Where: The Alhambra Theater
 - Details: Three free movies will be available all day in downtown Hopkinsville with concession available for sale. The Polar Express will be at 10 a.m., Die Hard at 3 p.m., and It’s a Wonderful Life at 6 p.m.
