HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville and Christian County are at a slight risk for severe weather Tuesday evening as storms make their way through the region.

A hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service indicates that a few severe storms are possible tonight, that may bring damaging winds and large hail along with heavy rainfall.

The storms will initially move into southeast Missouri between noon and 2 p.m. and then progress across the rest of the region through the afternoon, with the threat likely over before 7 p.m., according to NWS in Paducah. Multiple rounds of storms will continue for the next few days through Thursday.
