HOPKINSVILLE, KY – Amanda Nielsen has been named the 2025 Boys & Girls Club Midwest Region Program Staff of the Year, a prestigious honor recognizing outstanding leadership, dedication, and impact in youth development across the Midwest.

Nielsen received the award Oct. 22 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America 2025 Midwest Regional
Leadership Conference in Louisville This regional award celebrates program professionals who go above and beyond to create safe, engaging, and transformative experiences for young people. Nielsen was selected for her exceptional commitment to empowering youth, delivering high-quality programming, and fostering positive outcomes for Club members.

Throughout her tenure with the Boys & Girls Club of Hopkinsville-Christian County, Nielsen has been a driving force behind innovative programs that support academic success, mental health, and healthy lifestyles. Her ability to build meaningful relationships with youth and families, mentor fellow staff, and lead with passion has made a lasting impact on the Club and the community it serves.
