HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man who robbed All Bark and No Bite pet groomer on Lafayette Road Dec. 11.

The man was seen on security cameras driving by in his vehicle around 2 a.m. before the robbery. Surveillance video shows him parking nearby and walking around the building before breaking the glass door and entering the store. He then went straight for the cash register, stealing an unknown amount of money and the register itself.

Tanya Ruth, owner of All Bark and No Bite says that this isn’t the first time a groomer in the city has gotten broken into, citing two other local groomers who got robbed. “I think they think we deal with a lot of cash but most of the time my sales are debit or credit,” she said.

Ruth told Christian County Now she hopes the man gets caught and she gets restitution. “What’s frustrating to me is the repairs I’ve had to do, I am out more than what he took,” she said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hopkinsville Christian County Crime Stoppers at 270-887-8477.
