HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville-Christian County Airport is asking for the public’s assistance in supporting those affected by Hurricane Helene through Operation Airdrop.

Accepted items include sports drinks, hydration packs, diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, bug spray, non-perishable foods, and cleaning supplies. Donations can be dropped off at 300 Memorial Field Drive Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.

Through a partnership with Operation Airdrop, pilots will be able to deliver much needed supplies to those in North Carolina and other areas that were hit hard. A group of pilots from Hopkinsville is set to deliver the donated items later this week. The Hopkinsville-Christian County Airport says some of the fuel cost has been covered by airport patrons, but donations are still welcome.
