HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Pathfinder eSports student club at Hopkinsville Community College has a brand new, remodeled gaming lab. The club now has multiple gaming computers, a new Xbox system, a PlayStation 5, and VR systems. Students held an open house on Sept. 13 so non-club members could look around.

“Club members are excited about the new space, they feel the school has given them an opportunity to make the space their own and build something they are comfortable being in.” said the eSports Faculty Advisor & 3D Digital Printing Instructor Kadn Butler. There are currently 28 members in this growing club that allows college students to bond over their combined passion for gaming.

They spent the spring and summer 2023 semester’s working on the renovations, and students were able to help design their logo, pick paint colors, and choose equipment. HCC’s Pathfinder Esports Lab is located in the Emerging Technologies Building, room 158. Students who are interested in joining can find more information on the Hopkinsville Community College website.
