HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Hopkinsville’s first Scribe and Scout Renaissance Faire was a hit with medieval enthusiasts as people flocked to the library to enter the world of knights and dragons.

Due to weather, the free festival was moved inside the Hopkinsville- Christian County Public library, but the day was just as magical as previously planned. Costumed patrons of all ages shopped themed vendors, visited a fortune teller, stopped at a tavern, and joined the fun activities. With the event lasting through 7 p.m., people had the chance to join in the community drum circle, make crafts, and listen to Celtic music from The Secret of the Commonwealth Band.
