HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Police Department arrested 30-year-old Kendall Glen Spikes on Oct. 8 at Oak Tree Villa Drive while executing an indictment warrant in connection to two murders.
On Dec. 9, 2021, Stanley Bussell and Candace Marcel were shot and killed in Christian County. Bobby Glen Spikes was arrested in February 2022 and charged with both murders. According to records from the Christian County Circuit Court, Bobby Spikes is also accused of kidnapping Marcel, theft, and tampering with evidence while attempting to dispose of the murder weapon.
The warrant for Kendall Spikes says he aided, counseled or engaged in a conspiracy with Bobby Spikes to kill Marcel. He is charged with complicity to murder, complicity to kidnapping, complicity to tampering with evidence, and hindering the prosecution in the first degree. He is expected to appear in court for arraignment on Oct. 14.
