HOPKINSVILLE, KY – The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County invites you to their next History on Tap on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Hopkinsville Brewing Company.

Asbury Harpending was born in Hopkinsville in 1839 and set out to live a life of adventure, intrigue, scandal, and vast wealth. From mines in Mexico to real estate in San Francisco, Asbury Harpending accumulated a large fortune – alongside a good deal of controversy. Join Museum Director Alissa Keller as she weaves this tale of treason, prison, diamonds, and extravagance and its connection to western Kentucky.

History on Tap is a free series that seeks to share local history in a relaxed, fun setting. Programs are typically held on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Hopkinsville Brewing Company.
