HOPKINSVILLE, KY – The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County invites the community to our next History on Tap on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Hopkinsville Brewing Company for a discussion of local Black businesses in the early 20th century.

Mr. J.T. Lynch drew a map of downtown Hopkinsville that identified Black-owned businesses in 1925. Created from memory, this map provides a glimpse into the diverse economic life of our community 100 years ago. Join Museum Director Alissa Keller for an exploration of this map, the businesses listed, and the people who owned them.

History on Tap is a free series that seeks to share local history in a relaxed, fun setting. Programs are typically held on the last Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at Hopkinsville Brewing Company.
