HOPKINSVILLE, KY – The Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department welcomes their newest staff member, Rachael Wolfe, as Recreation Programs Coordinator. Rachael initiated her position on Monday, June 26, and is working out of the Thomas Street Recreation Center with the rest of the Parks and Recreation team.
Rachael was born and raised in North Carolina and recently moved to Clarksville with her husband and their two dogs. She graduated from Campbell University in 2019 where she studied Sports Management and Business. During Rachael’s time at Campbell, she was the manager of their baseball team for two seasons. She previously worked for the Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation Department in North Carolina for five years.
“We are excited for the energy and new perspective Rachael will bring to our team,” says Parks and Recreation Superintendent Toby Hudson. “She demonstrated her knowledge and skill during the interview process, and stood out as a shining star from our excellent pool of candidates. Her arrival will continue the progress of transition as the department shifts around the retirement of Tab Brockman as Superintendent.”
Wolfe will be acquiring the duties of event and program coordination formerly occupied by Hudson, as Hudson steps up as Superintendent.
