This seminar is designed to provide essential knowledge on nutrition basics, covering the roles of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats in a healthy diet. The Nutrition 101 seminar will be led by Octavia Vinson, a dedicated personal trainer at the Hopkinsville YMCA with over three years of experience. Octavia is certified through Precision Nutrition and is passionate about helping individuals improve their health and fitness through better nutritional habits.

“We’re thrilled to offer this opportunity for community members to learn more about the fundamentals of nutrition,” says Sheryl Ellis, CEO of the Hopkinsville YMCA. “Our goal is to support healthy living through education, and Octavia brings both expertise and a genuine desire to help others on their wellness journey.”
