HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The 2023 HES/Energy Net Night Christmas parade is just around the corner in Hopkinsville. This yearly, nighttime parade will light up the streets of downtown on Dec. 9.
This year’s theme is “Reviving Christmas.” Lighted floats, and bands representing businesses and the people of Hopkinsville will be led by this year’s Parade Grand Marshal Randy Graham, the Christian County Emergency Managment Director.
In order to get the most extravagant light displays possible in the parade, cash prizes will be given to winning floats who go above and beyond. The HES Grand Champion prize is $1,000. They will be judged on design, uniqueness, and holiday spirit.
The parade will begin at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9.
