CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred overnight in Christian County.

Around 1:30 a.m. on July 4, emergency services and law enforcement responded to the 2000 block of Butler Road. An adult man was found with four stab wounds, according to Payton Rogers with Hopkinsville Fire/EMS.

Life saving measures were attempted, but he was pronounced deceased and the Christian County Coroner was called to the scene. They have identified the victim as 42-year-old John Anthony Foster of Hopkinsville, who resided on Butler Road. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office remained on the scene for several hours Saturday morning.
