HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The 9th annual Summer Salute Festival brought large crowds to downtown Hopkinsville on September 12–13, filling the streets with live music, food, and family activities. The two-day event drew visitors from across the region.

This year’s headliner was country music star Easton Corbin, who performed Saturday night on the main stage in front of the Christian County Justice Center. Corbin, known for hits like “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It,” closed out the festival.

The weekend’s lineup also featured The Frontmen, a supergroup of country artists, who opened for Corbin Saturday evening. Friday night’s entertainment included local favorites Saved by the Music, playing 90s hits, followed by Shining Star: A Tribute to Earth, Wind, and Fire.

Summer Salute offered something for all ages. Carnival rides filled Founders Square, while vendors lined Ninth Street selling food, crafts, and more. Families enjoyed the Kids Zone, while adults gathered at the Bluegrass Beverage Beer Garden, which opened both days of the event.
