HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Crowds packed DeBow Recreational Complex Saturday morning for Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation’s Touch-A-Truck event. For the eighth year, dozens of trucks lined the street where kids and their families could learn more about different industrial vehicles.

Non-stop honks were heard as kids sat in the front seat of their favorite trucks including Hopkinsville police cars, a fire truck, ambulance, construction vehicles, garbage trucks, agriculture equipment, care cars, rescue vehicles, dump trucks, utilities vehicles, long-haul trucks, tow trucks, and military vehicles.  Free hot dogs and snow cones were available, and a life flight helicopter landed in front of excited young faces.
