HOPKINSVILLE, KY – On the afternoon of June 4, deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence on Deerwood Drive in Hopkinsville as part of a two-month long narcotics investigation.

Upon arrival around 1:20 p.m., deputies contacted 29-year-old Charles Green, a resident of the home. It was discovered that Green had an active Christian County warrant related to previous trafficking charges involving methamphetamine and fentanyl. During a pat down, deputies located three baggies of suspected methamphetamine on his person. A search of the kitchen area also uncovered digital scales and a straw with residue—both consistent with drug use and distribution.

Green was taken into custody and faces the following charges.

  • Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine, 2nd or Greater Offense)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Also arrested at the scene was 31-year-old Devin Puckett, who was located in the bathroom. Deputies recovered two baggies of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and additional drug paraphernalia. Digital scales were also seized from the home.

Puckett is facing the following charges.

  • Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine, 1st Offense)
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
