OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A press release from the Chrisitan County Sheriff’s Office says detectives with the Anti-Crime Unit arrested an Oak Grove man for trafficking in narcotics. The arrest was the result of a five month long joint investigation between the Anti-Crime Unit and the Fort Campbell Criminals Investigations Division.

The man was taken into custody at the Probation and Parole Office on Dec. 7. After his arrest, detectives served a search warrant at his home on Pembroke- Oak Grove Road. Detectives found cocaine, diazepam, a gun, and another gun that had been reported stolen. The man is a convicted felon and cannot possess a handgun.

He told detectives he’s selling cocaine to pay for his child support. The CCSO reports the man is facing multiple charges including two counts of trafficking in controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in legend drugs, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
