Janie Rose Mathews, 67, of Oak Grove, KY died at 11:04 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville with Bro. Bencie Rasnake officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until funeral hour. Dogwood Funerals & Cremation of Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Oak Grove, KY she was born October 23, 1956 the daughter of the late Austin Wendell Mathews and Christa Lea Reynolds Mathews. She was a member of Chosen Stone Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Wendell Mathews and Darrell Mathews; and her sister: Cheri Mathews.
Survivors include her brother: Herbie Mathews of Oak Grove, KY; and her nieces: Dr. Jessica Campbell of Dunbar, WV and Misty Wolfe-Lopez of Hopkinsville, KY.
