Jeffrey Metzger, age 37, of Oak Grove, KY, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024, at home. The family has chosen cremation with the celebration of his life to be by spreading his keepsake cremains around the world in the places that he loved. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family with the care of their loved one.
Mr. Metzger was born on January 20, 1987, in Prince William County, VA, the son of Jeffrey Todd Metzger and Diann Leigh Roan Strake. Jeffrey was a welder and worked at rehab centers and at the time of his passing was the caregiver for his mother. He loved and believed in all religions and everyone was right. He was of the Buddhist faith. Jeffrey was a very compassionate man, he never met a stranger; he was a traveling man playing his guitar and writing songs. He was loved by so many and has now finally found his peace.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey Todd Metzger (Debbie) of Watsontown, PA, and his mother, Diann Roan Starke (Dean) of Oak Grove, KY, survivors included his brother, Daniel Metzger (Kyra) of Dickson, TN; and several cousins.
