HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Jennie Stuart Health on Friday announced a new partnership with Christian County Public Schools to support the expansion of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Early Learning Center.
The partnership will enable the Early Learning Center to expand its services and provide greater access to early childhood education, according to a news release. With additional funding, the center will be able to expand its facilities, hire more staff, and offer more resources to meet the growing demand for early childhood education programs.
“We believe in the power of education and the critical role early childhood learning plays in shaping the future of our community,” Eric Lee, CEO of Jennie Stuart Health, said in the release. “This partnership with the Early Learning Center is a natural extension of our commitment to improving health and well-being across our community. We’re excited to help give children in Christian County a solid foundation for lifelong learning and success.”
The Early Learning Center serves children ages 2 to 5, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment where they can grow, learn, and develop the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.
“We are incredibly grateful to Jennie Stuart Health for this generous contribution,” said Chris Bentzel, superintendent of Christian County Public Schools, in the release. “Their support will have a direct and lasting impact on our youngest learners by expanding access to high-quality childcare. This partnership helps lay a strong foundation for future academic success and strengthens our entire community through enriched programs focused on early learning, kindergarten readiness, and preschool development.”
The expanded Early Learning Center is expected to open later this fall.
