Joyce Taylor Rogers, 80, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 7:29 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with the Rev. David Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Christian County, KY she was born August 25, 1943 the daughter of the late Arnold E. Taylor and Edna Chewning Taylor. She was a retired administrative assistant/hearing officer for the driver’s license hearing office. She was a charter member of the Hopkinsville Legal Secretaries, the Christian County Democratic Woman’s Club, and the Katherine Peden Business & Professional Women’s Club. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Whitney Rogers; her brother: Glen Taylor; and her sister: Jeanette McGhee.
