Judy Hamby, 76, of Nashville, TN died Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Brookdale Green Hills Cumberland.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Fort Benning, GA she was born March 20, 1947 the daughter of the late George D. “Pete” Turner and Irene Griffin Miller Turner. She was a retired business owner. She was a member of Sirens of the Sea in Gulf Shores, AL and the Craft Farms Golf Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Turner.
Survivors include her son: Chris (Sherri) Hamby of Nashville, TN; her daughter: Angela (Steve) Mitchell of Trigg County, KY; her brothers: Doug (Joann) Turner of Clarksville, TN and Glenn (Paulette) Turner of Johnson City, TN; her sister: Peggy (Gordon Rahn) Vass of Clarksville, TN; her grandchildren: Justin (Katy) Pruitt, Tyler (Mikaela) Pruitt, Bryant (Montana) Hamby, and Makenzi Hamby; and her two great grandchildren: Avery Pruitt and Peyton Pruitt.
