Kenneth Earl “Knothead” Johnson, age 70, of Elkton, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Buddy Weatherford officiating, and burial is to follow in Johnsons Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 19, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mr. Johnson was born in Christian County, KY, on February 20, 1953, the son of the late William E “Bill” Johnson and Jeanne Anita Meacham Johnson. Kenneth was a truck driver for Ronald Powell Trucking and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michial Johnson.
Survivors include his sons, Keith Johnson of Christian County, and Kerry (Jenna) Johnson of Christian County; his brothers, Dewayne Johnson of Hopkinsville, and Tommy Johnson of Hopkinsville; his sister, Rita Stone of Madisonville; his two grandchildren, Kendall Johnson and Kyler Johnson; his best friend, Warner Cotton Powell; and close personal friend Elsie Brown.
