Kenneth Hightower, 86, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 2:11p.m. Friday, November 17, 2023 at his residence.

A native of Elkton, Kentucky he was born September 7, 1937 the son of the late Finis Hightower and Eula Fish Hightower. He worked in the automotive repair industry and was employed at many different businesses in Hopkinsville. He married Beverly Stokes in 1963 and they raised two daughters. He loved babysitting his “grandcat” Jazzy every day he got the chance.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers; one sister; and his son-in-law Jeffery Shanklin.
Survivors include his wife Beverly Stokes Hightower; daughters: Katrina Shanklin of Hazel, Kentucky; Karonica Hightower of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; brothers: Edwin Hightower of Elkton, Kentucky; Dwight Hightower of Russellville, Kentucky; sisters: Betty Lear of Clifty, Kentucky; Elise Law of Dayton, Ohio and many extended family members and friends.
Memorial contributions in honor of Kenneth are suggested to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or to Max’s Hope Pet Rescue.
