HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Kentucky Cancer Program, Community Medical Clinic, and the Christian County Health Department are teaming up to provide a free class this month to help people kick the smoking habit.

The Plan to be Tobacco Free program is designed to show people all options available to assist with quitting tobacco, says a news release from the Kentucky Cancer Program. Tabacco Treatment Navigators will teach those in attendance which cessation products and resources are best suited for their life. Participants will also receive a free nicotine replacement therapy to ensure they successfully follow through with quitting.

Two classes are being offered in Christian County on Jan. 8. The first class is at 11:30 a.m. at the Oak Grove Community Center, and the second is at 2:30 p.m. at the Community Medical Clinic in Hopkinsville. Registration is required for this free class.
