OAK GROVE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – Police in Oak Grove infiltrated a drug trafficking operation after being called to a residence to provide assistance for an injury.

On March 8 around 6 a.m., Oak Grove PD received a report of a person needing assistance after falling and injuring themselves on Mandarin Drive. When officers entered the residence to supply aid, a large amount of ketamine and cocaine was observed in plain view, according to a news release from Oak Grove PD.

The 30-year-old man suspect claimed ownership of the drugs, along with the visible drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (greater than four grams), possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
