HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The annual pancake breakfast from Kiwanis of Hopkinsville is coming up on Feb. 3. This networking opportunity will provide a buffet of pancakes, sausages, juice, and coffee prepared by Kiwanis members. Tickets are $7 and will raise funds for kids in the community.
“The mission of Kiwanis states that we are a global organization of volunteers, dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time,” said Nikki Chambers with Kiwanis. “The money raised from this breakfast will ensure that we are able to do just that by way of supporting our sponsored youth groups such as Key Clubs and K-Kids.”
Over 300 people are expected to attend this event. Chambers said they typically see whole families or groups coming together for a sit down meal to talk with their neighbors and community members. There is also a to-go option for people that are not able to stay.
The breakfast will be held at the War Memorial Building at 7 a.m. until 11 a.m on Feb. 3, no registration is required.
