HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – There is a planned road closure on KY 115 between Rosedale Cemetery and Pembroke Elementary between July 16 and July 18. Work was initially supposed to begin July 9 but has been rescheduled due to weather.
People traveling through Pembroke are asked to use caution around the construction area, and traffic flow will likely be affected while the road is closed. Only residents who live within the limits of the closure will be allowed through the work zone with assistance from the contractor, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
This project is part of the ongoing improvement project for KY 115 as a contractor working for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet constructs a direct tie-in for the new alignment of the KY 115 connector. Construction dates may continue to be impacted by severe weather.
