HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A narcotics investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of a 56-year-old man who is now facing multiple trafficking charges.
On April 23, deputies executed a search warrant at the suspect’s home at the 200 block of Hillside Terrace. During the search, significant amounts narcotics were found in clear baggies including fentanyl, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and percocet according to a news release from CCSO.
A large sum of money and two handguns were also found in the residence. The man was arrested and is facing three drug trafficking charges. In a later interview with deputies, the suspect provided information about the intended sale of the narcotics. This arrest is part of an ongoing drug investigation.
“The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is committed to combating the illegal drug trade and ensuring the safety of all Christian County residents,” said CCSO.
