HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A Hopkinsville home was significantly damaged in a fire on Sunday in a neighborhood off of Glass Avenue, with smoke visible throughout the area while emergency crews responded.
Hopkinsville firefighters responded to a house fire on Arden Place around 1 p.m. on Sept. 28. According to HFD, smoke was visible several blocks away, and an additional station was requested to respond due to the extent of the fire.
The home was engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived, and within 25 minutes, the fire was under control. No injuries were reported by emergency crews or the occupants of the home. The structure sustained visible damage, with a large hole created in the roof as a result.
