HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A haunted tour of historic homes in downtown Hopkinsville is open to the public on Oct. 27 and 28 for Halloween.
The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County is hosting their Spooky South Main Stroll where they will be showing off the old houses on South Main Street in Hopkinsville, and sharing the spooky stories associated with them.
A news release from the museum says, “The houses along South Main Street stand witness to more than 100 years of history. In those decades, these homes have been the scene of the happiest – and the darkest – of days…hear tragic stories of murder, suicide, and accidental death connected to some of our city’s most beautiful and historic houses.”
The haunting tour will be hosted by Museum Director Alissa Keller and will span approximately 1.25 miles. People attending can expect the tour to take around and hour and a half, and groups will leave at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. from the parking lot of First Baptist Church on the corner of Main and Sixteenth Street. Tickets are $15 per person and $12 for Museum Members.
