Lily Mae Lewis Ladd, 87, of Crofton, KY died at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Hillside Center in Madisonville, KY.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Dogwood of Crofton with Bro. Matthew Gallimore officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Christian County, KY she was born December 11, 1936 the daughter of the late Hollie Lewis and Mattie Louis Cavanaugh Lewis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Franklin Delano Ladd, her daughters; Sandra Rodgers and Vickie Renea Ladd; her sisters; Lorella Burchfield and Dorothy Jean Lewis Teague; and two brothers: Edward Merle Lewis and Donald Lynn Lewis.
She was a cook at the Cat’s Den in Nortonville and the Crofton Diner. She was a member of the Truth Apostalic Church in Madisonville, KY.
Survivors include her sons: Jeff Ladd of Crofton, KY and Chris (Cindy) Rodgers of White Plains, KY, her daughters; Pamela (Tim) Gallimore of White Plains, KY and Lori (Jerry) Lowry of Crofton, KY. Twelve grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
