HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A festive light display is getting the finishing touches at Little River Park downtown. Workers from Hopkinsville’s Public Works department were on sight replacing the last few bulbs necessary to make the displays look their best.

This display is free to see, and open to the public. It consists of multiple, large festive set ups along the walking path. Free parking is also available next to the path. The lights will be turned on Dec. 8 along with the Christmas tree lighting in the park.

Little River Park expands almost three acres at the end of the greenway near the Hopkinsville-Christian County Library. The park usually features a large fountain that is turned on during the summer which has been replaced by a fountain of lights.
